Standard Guard Caps (F Style)
 
STANDARD GUARD-CAPS (S STYLE) are intended to be applied over flanges and held in place by a retainer ridge around the inside of the cap; while the cap may fit loosely it will remain in place. STANDARD GUARD-CAPS are supplied (unless otherwise requested) in Opaque Yellow vinyl with a durometer of 80-90 Shore A.

How to choose a STANDARD GUARD-CAP

STANDARD GUARD-CAPS are intended to be held in place by the retainer ridge in the I.D. of the cap. When choosing a STANDARD GUARD-CAP as a flange protector, select a cap with a MAJOR I.D. (A) near to BUT SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN the outside diameter of the flange to be covered; otherwise, select a cap with a MINOR I.D. (B) near to BUT SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN the outside diameter of the part to be covered.
