Being in the injection molding business ourselves, we know how to design molds for high efficiency and employ techniques necessary to keep molds out of the shop and producing in the press. Molding and other services are well engineered in advance, with training, documentation and tightly controlled processes to maintain structural and dimensional integrity, visual consistency, reduce scrap and increase overall customer value.
 

Quality Injection Molding

Many companies mold plastic parts. Southwest is proud that a significant number of our customers have recognized the value of our consistent commitment to quality, so over half of our molded components are shipped as “certified parts” or are on “dock to stock” plans. This eliminates the cost of redundant in-coming inspections and allows customers the ability to focus their resources on their own organization’s priorities.

Precision Mold Making

SWM features in-house programming and state-of-the-art CNC and EDM machining centers, capable of working directly from the CAD data base, saving time and adding precision. Our qualified staff of tool makers can easily handle multi-tool programs, hot runner and auto-unscrewing molds or a single “developmental” tool.
